Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the Vacation Rental site for Cedar Hollow Cabin-1103u in Tofino, BC.

When you send an inquiry through this site, we store your name, email address, stay dates, party size, and message so the host can reply. If another website led you here (for example a search engine or an AI assistant), we also store which one and any campaign tag in its link. The host keeps inquiry records until they delete them; when a record is 90 days old, the host is asked whether to delete it. The host may also keep a copy of your inquiry, including any chat with this site's assistant, in their own systems for their own use. We do not sell this information, and we do not use it to train general-purpose AI models.

With each inquiry we also keep a coded form of your network address, to protect the form from abuse.

We count visits to this site: which page was opened, which site it came from, and an anonymous number kept on your device to tell repeat visits apart. We do not record your screen, use cookies, or collect what you type. Your network address reaches our counting service with each visit. To opt out, turn on Do Not Track in your browser.

If this site shows a map, it is usually a picture of the general area drawn from OpenStreetMap data and loaded from our platform. Where an interactive map is shown instead, or you open the larger-map link, your browser connects to Google Maps or OpenStreetMap, which receives your network address, and Google may set its own cookies under Google's privacy policy.

The host uses inquiry details to respond to your request. Contact the host through the inquiry form on this site if you have questions about your information.
